Speakers > Chris Charla, Vice President of Development, Foundation 9 Entertainment

Chris Charla is a 15 year veteran of the game industry. After skipping the “QA phase” of the typical development career by working as a games journalist for five years (including stints as editor-in-chief of Next Generation and launch editor of IGN.com), he joined the indie developer Digital Eclipse as production manager in 2000. Since then he’s done everything from level design to production to managing the development of new IPs (from concept to GMC) to developing marketing plans and helping build the business as a “suit.” Currently he’s vp of business development for Foundation 9 Entertainment, where he works with the company’s 30+ teams and 650+ employees to deliver high quality interactive entertainment across every gaming platform, from the iPhone to the PS3.
