Jay Cohen is President of Development at Jerry Bruckheimer Games Inc. and directs all phases of advancement from concept to platform as well as production and marketing stages. Working side by side with President of Production Jim Veevaert, the dynamic duo will head the creative incubation studio that for-the-first-time connects the impact and success of Jerry Bruckheimer to the video games industry.

The landmark partnership between MTV Games and Jerry Bruckheimer focuses on developing new and original games. Combined with the expertise of MTV Games and marketing power of MTV Networks, the studio will develop games that tell great stories, create inventive gameplay and build partnerships with experienced developers, artists and storytellers.

Previously, Jay served as Senior Vice President for Ubisoft publishing, managing business plans in North America, initiating relations with console manufacturers, overseeing non-retail sales, product release planning, content and brand acquisition. Launching blockbuster franchises such as Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Prince of Persia, Rayman, and Assassin’s Creed, Cohen increased sales for the North American Group from $5M to $600M and has officially become one of the top 3 independent publishers in the world. Prior to joining Ubisoft, Jay served as international sales and marketing manager at Accolade Inc. and held positions in retail sales and marketing at G.T. Global Investment Bank.
