Zack Karlsson, Sr. Director of Business Development, NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc. As Senior Director of Business Development at NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc., Zack Karlsson brings nearly a decade of professional commitment and dedication to the video games industry to his position. Mr. Karlsson is responsible for all aspects of new and existing business development, including external relationships, P&L responsibility, and contracts negotiation.

In this capacity, Mr. Karlsson is integral in the day-to-day operation of managing the top-tier portfolio of this leading interactive entertainment software publisher. Over the past nearly two years at NAMCO BANDAI, Mr. Karlsson has spearheaded acquisition of new projects, overseen internal and external licensing deals and managed all of NBGA’s business strategy.

Prior to NBGA, Mr. Karlsson held various positions throughout the industry, most recently at Sigil Games Online as the Director of Business Development, where he was additionally responsible for community development, marketing, and public relations. He has also held a variety of positions at Sony Online Entertainment, where he was instrumental in their global strategies on EverQuest, Planetside, and Star Wars Galaxies.

In addition to his professional commitment to the video games industry, Mr. Karlsson is an avid gamer. He speaks many foreign languages and when not immersed in online games, he enjoys scuba diving in Monterey, California, and living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
